Emblem

The emblem of the Modern TRIZ Academy incorporates 6 key elements:

  1. Name of the Academy;
  2. Dominant Idea;
  3. Globe;
  4. Ring of the Meta-Algorithm of Inventing;
  5. Symbols of the practical directions of the activities of the Academy;
  6. Year of the Academy’s founding.

The following is the purpose of these elements:

  1. Name of the Academy

    The name of the academy is in the outer ring: Modern TRIZ Academy International. Symmetrically and fractally formed pentagrams PentaCORE (five cores) are in the same ring.

  2. Dominant Idea

    The quote from the Bible in Latin in the second (inner) ring expresses the extremely wise and concentrated thought that everyone has the ability to reform and develop themselves further by renewing their understanding – their spirit and heart:

    Transformamini renovatione mentis.

    Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

    This thesis contains the overriding task and great wisdom that shows us (meaning here our brain that looks into the future, sets goals and invents, our super intellect, super rational thinking concentrated in the forehead where understanding and the heart are unified) that we have the ability to set goals and to continuously develop ourselves further.

  3. Globe

    The globe symbolizes both the globalization of the spread of Modern TRIZ and the common evolution of humankind in space, time and the nature of our planet, the necessity to protect civilization and the development of its ecology, technology and culture.

  4. Meta-Algorithm of Inventing

    The ring around the globe is formed by the scheme of the meta-algorithm of inventing (MAI) that is represented by arrow-shaped transitions between the Latin symbols T-R-I-Z. The stages T-R-I-Z "Targeting, Trend – Reducing – Inventing – Zooming" of the special version of MAI that clearly connect MAI with TRIZ symbolize both the permanent unchangeable state of the meta-algorithm of inventing for every theory of creativity and the cyclical nature of every creative synthesis.

    The two connected branches at the base that tend to reconnect themselves in an upward direction symbolize the inseparability of rational creativity that is the fundament of TRIZ and the irrational thinking that is a necessary part of artistic creativity, inventive talent and intuition.

    The branches together symbolize the connection between logic and the beauty of creativity.

  5. Symbols of the Practical Direction of the Activities

    The inscription A.R.T. (Applied Resourcefulness Theory) above the globe and the inscription in the lower part of the inner ring Science & Art of Invention symbolize the practical direction of the Modern TRIZ Academy.

  6. Year of the Academy’s founding

    The year of the founding of the academy – 2005 – is noted where the connected branches open in Roman numerals.

Logo

This emblem symbolizes the cyclical nature of the evolutionary development of all knowledge and it reflects the three parts of this unending process.

A spiral of the evolution of knowledge develops when the cycles are considered in the course of time.

The phases of this cycle include the following processes when applied to MTRIZ:

  • EXPERTISE Selection, investigation and re-inventing of previous inventions and innovations as the primary method of expanding knowledge in classical and modern TRIZ;

  • EDUCATION Training of new generations of specialists in the essentials of MTRIZ based on models and laws developed with the support of re-inventing;

  • EVOLUTION Use of the models and methods of MTRIZ to generate effective ideas and solutions as well as to guide the development and evolution of systems.
