Academy

The MTRIZ Academy (Modern TRIZ Academy International) was founded in Berlin, Germany in the fall of 2005.

The Modern TRIZ Academy is an independent private research and teaching institute.

The founder of the MTRIZ Academy, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences Michael Orloff is an expert in the field of TRIZ training and consulting. This experience is the basis for experimental research in the further development and in the technologies of the teaching and usage of TRIZ. He is also the author of the text book "Grundlagen der klassischen TRIZ", published by the Springer Verlag (3rd edition in German, Berlin, and 2nd edition in English, New York, 2006) and in Russian by SOLON-PRESS, Moscow (2nd edition, 2006).

The current mission of the MTRIZ is training in the basics of modern TRIZ for a broad spectrum of specialists – managers, scientists, engineers and others – in practically every area of industry and business, as well as for college students.

The methodological basis of MTRIZ training is the systematical and „standardized“ representation of fundamental TRIZ knowledge and concentration on invariable main forms and models that are simultaneously universal and simple to use.

The technological basis of MTRIZ training is distance courses supported by the Internet.

The Internet makes the availability of TRIZ knowledge possible for everyone who is interested and who has already reached an appropriate level of vocational training in a practical direction.

Training at the TRIZ Academy is done according to a hierarchical principle that foresees a consistent increase in competence.


Three general training stages and levels are part of the program:
  • preparatory;
  • professional;
  • master.

Preparatory training under the auspices of the Academy already starts in school and contains two stages in the pilot program:
  • MTRIZ Pupil (for middle-school classes);
  • MTRIZ Junior (for higher classes and students).

Professional training at the Academy is also done in two stages:
  • MTRIZ Associate (professional certificate in accordance with the basic standard program);
  • MTRIZ Bachelor (professional diploma in the complete higher training in MTRIZ).

At the master level there are two certificates at the same high training level with different contents:
  • MTRIZ Master;
  • MTRIZ Doctor.

In certain cases it is also possible to receive two certificates at the master level.

We are planning to offer the professional training in different programs: in lecture halls, in summer and evening programs as well as in special courses with individual planning.

The practical realization of the programs of the MTRIZ Academy envisions the participation of TRIZ experts from different countries.

The MTRIZ Academy is also planning seminars and conferences with graduates of the academy and known TRIZ specialists.

The development of the programs of the MTRIZ Academy will continue on the basis of scientific and experimental research.



Departments

The Modern TRIZ Academy guarantees training with specialization in several practical directions that are commensurate with the following fields:

  • MTRIZ Education;
  • MTRIZ Engineering;
  • MTRIZ Industrial and Artistic Design;
  • MTRIZ Management.

Specialization in MTRIZ in selected fields is based on individual programs that are tailor-made for all students according to their personal interests.
